4. Pricing and Estimates

Estimates provided on our website, by phone, or in an initial consultation are based on the information available at that time and are not a final price. Final pricing depends on the complexity of your situation, the documents provided, and the actual scope of work required. A quote is generally valid for 30 days and may be revised if the scope of the engagement changes.

5. Consultation and Assessment

Before finalizing pricing or scope, we may conduct an initial consultation by phone, video, or email, and review the documents you provide, to assess the work involved. This assessment is based on the information available at the time and may change once we begin the engagement and review your complete records.

9. Client-Supplied Information

We rely on the accuracy and completeness of the financial information, receipts, and records you provide. We are not responsible for errors, penalties, interest, or missed deductions that result from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information supplied to us.

10. Payment Terms

Fees are communicated at the time of booking or upon completion of scope review, and accepted payment methods are communicated at that time. Payment is generally due upon completion of the service unless other arrangements are agreed in writing. Late payment may result in a hold on further services or filings.

11. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us as early as possible. Fees paid for work already completed are non-refundable. We reserve the right to reschedule an appointment due to circumstances beyond our control.

12. Testimonials and Website Content

Testimonials, reviews, and other content shown on our website are from real clients and are used with permission where required. Results described in a testimonial reflect that client's individual situation and are not a guarantee of the same result for every client.

13. Warranties and Exclusions

We prepare all filings and financial work using the tax laws, rates, and CRA guidance in effect at the time of the engagement, and we stand behind the accuracy of our own work. These Terms do not, however, warrant or guarantee:

  • A specific refund amount, tax outcome, or approval of any deduction or credit
  • That a filing will not be selected for CRA review or audit
  • Outcomes that depend on incomplete, inaccurate, or late information you provide
  • Changes in tax law, CRA policy, or processing times after a filing is submitted

14. Results and Service Limitations

We do not provide legal advice, and complex legal matters may require referral to a qualified lawyer. Our services are limited to the scope agreed at the time of engagement, and any additional work is subject to a separate agreement.
